The Producer Takes the Spotlight in New Course

A collaboration between Jutland-based Shareplay and The Animation Workshop from Viborg, sets the framework for a new month-long educational course focusing on producers within games, animation, and film.

Running from October 27th to November 28th, “The Producer as Playmaker” is an opportunity for new producers to learn more about what it takes to become an independent producer, or work in an established production company.

Throughout the course, international as well as Danish speakers will dive into the entire process of producing, right from the bright idea till the distribution of the finished product. Furthermore, the course provides insights into the tools needed for working professionally with production through real life case studies, and also touches upon international financing and funding of media productions.

The course is cross-media and as such focuses not only on the production of games, but also animation and film. Shareplay hopes that this clash of industries will create a synergy effect that will strengthen the collaboration between all producers within the media production industries.

More information about the course will be released during the following weeks on the course website.
