Half Price Northern Game Summit Tickets for Students

On September 25th, the Kajaani Univesity of Applied Sciences and Kajability cooperative will open the doors for the third annual Northern Game Summit in Kajaani, Finland, and the event promises two days filled with exciting speeches and fantastic networking opportunities.

To kick the event off is Business and Strategy Director at Microsoft’s Lionhead Studios, Emmi Kuusikko, who will hold the opening keynote. Following her, is a variety of Finnish, English, American, and German speakers, who’ll each have one hour on stage.

The first day will end with a party for all day 1 participants,  featuring an open bar supported by Finnish Fingersoft. The party will be a fantastic opportunity for connecting with the speakers and fellow participants of the Northern Game Summit, so make sure to bring your business cards with you!

Tickets for the event can be bought from the official website, and students will enjoy a 50% discount, which makes the price for the full event land at a favorable €46 for all students. Part of the vision for Northern Game Summit is to be able to facilitate and encourage networking between novices and professionals within the game development industry, and the focus on students is therefore not a mere coincidence.

“Our goal is to encourage mutual networking between the Novices and the Masters of the game development trade.

Creating new contacts, communicating new ideas, hearing the pros talk about current and upcoming trends – our attendants will have two full days worth of brain activity in front of them.
