Oddwings Escape launch announced

Developed by Finnish Small Giant Games, Oddwings Escape is the studios first title to be released, and this week it was announced that it will arrive on iOS on May 14th. With its cartoon’ish animations, Oddwings Escape is a physics-based flying game, and each of the several characters has its own special powers and flight dynamics.



FennecFox Entertainment announces Clash for Xbox

Founded in 2014 and located in a co-working space for game developers called The Ranch in Grenaa, Denmark, FennecFox Entertainment announced this week that their game called Clash, would officially be released on the Xbox platform. The game itself is a fast paced four player fantasy arena fighter, and no release date has been revealed just yet.



Runeblade by Everywear Games lands on Apple Watch

The first game by Finnish Everywear Games, a brand new games studio focusing purely on games for the Apple Watch, has launched. The game is a fantasy adventure game and is called Runeblade. At launch, the Apple Watch exclusive game was already featured on the US App store. Nordic Game 2015 program revealed

Also this week, the full Nordic Game 2015 program was revealed, and more than 90 speakers will take the scene during the two day conference, taking place from May 20th to the 22nd at Slagthuset in Mamö. The full program can be found on the official website.




Kyy Games’ Trulon: The Shadow Engine gets its own theater show

Yep, you read that right. Finnish Kyy Games have teamed up with Finland’s largest amusement park, PowerPark, to turn the fantasy universe into a live theater-show to be played for PowerPark visitors in 2015.

“In the summer of 2015, PowerPark visitors will have a chance to watch Trulon characters in the live performance at the new open air theatre. The live stage show is being produced by Markku Anttila and will contain impressive special effects, music, and dance scenes.”, the official website for Trulon says.
