New Games Festival in Denmark
The Danish Producers Association, Interactive Denmark, and IGDA Denmark announced this week that they will be arranging a Danish games festival for the first time in 2016.
The new games festival will consist of three elements: the Producers Association’s award show for Danish computer games, Nordic Game Jam 2016, and a new industry conference that Interactive Denmark arranges.
Mindfield Games’ POLLEN Greenlit in 36 hours
Finnish Mindfield Games‘ virtual reality game POLLEN was Greenlit by the Steam community this week – and it took less than 36 hours!
The game is scheduled for a release in 2016, supporting both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
Swedish DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront Beta Released
Swedish EA-owned DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront reached a beta release this week, and the beta can downloaded both on PS4, Xbox, and PC right now.
So far, feedback on the beta has been great, although the single-player campaign is apparently lacking.
Frozenbyte’s Trine 3 Released for Mac and Linux
The latest sequel in Finnish Frozenbyte‘s Trine series, Trine 3, was released earlier this year for Windows, but the game has now received a major update, which included Linux and Mac support.
